N: honeyed ham, South Carolina bbq, candy-crusted almond

P: pretty much the same, though it’s a little too hot for clarity. With a few drops of water: more vegetal peat as such, a hint of seafood, but still a pretty mustardy bbq and cask-driven profile. Not a standout among sherried Caol Ila of comparable stats, but doesn’t need to be to enjoy the brash interaction of a sherry cask and coastal smoke, though considering the price you might hope for something more dialed in
